Cancer Board

The Cancer Board develops treatment strategies for various cancers, transcending departmental and divisional boundaries to improve cancer treatment.

The Cancer Board is a hospital-wide unit transcending the boundaries of departments and divisions such as surgery, internal medicine, radiology and pathology. By making the most of the comprehensive resources and expertise of the Hospital University, the Board reviews cases for which single departments find it difficult to establish a diagnosis and make treatment plans.

Each Cancer Board office comprises multiple departments and divisions and is managed by the responsible physician.
